In the manufacturing of NEV electric drive assemblies, the motor housing is a key die-cast component that ensures the stable operation of drive motors. The housing is densely packed with internal cooling channels, deep holes, intersecting holes and threaded holes. After machining, residual aluminum chips, cutting fluid, release agent and micro-hole burrs pose major challenges for cleanliness control. As OEMs keep raising requirements on the safety and reliability of three-electric components, and with the implementation of VDA19 and ISO16232 cleanliness specifications, conventional simple cleaning equipment struggles to remove contaminants hidden inside holes, which may easily lead to risks such as water channel blockage, insulation failure and abnormal noise. The Buck CNC high-pressure cleaning machine is specially developed for precision cleaning of aluminum alloy housings for new energy applications.
Equipped with a 5-axis CNC servo motion system, the machine drives high-pressure water knives to position precisely according to pre-set paths, flexibly adapting to motor housings, reducer housings and electronic control housings of various specifications. The pressure of the high-pressure water jet is adjustable. Together with dedicated gemstone nozzles, it can reach narrow cooling channels and intersecting blind holes to remove burrs and flush out chips and oil contaminants at fixed points. The cleaning process is gentle and controllable, so it will not damage thin-walled aluminum alloy housings or cause workpiece deformation and scratches. High-pressure cleaning, rinsing, filtration and slag removal, and hot-air drying are integrated in one closed chamber. All processes can be completed with a single clamping, greatly cutting intermediate handling and avoiding secondary pollution.
The water circulation system adopts multi-stage purification including magnetic filtration, sedimentation separation and precision filter elements. It automatically separates aluminum slag and cutting fluid with high water recycling rate, featuring energy conservation and low long-term operating costs. The industrial control system supports storage of multiple process recipes. To switch between different products, operators only need to replace fixtures and call up corresponding programs for fast changeover, suitable for flexible mixed production of multiple models. Standard communication interfaces are reserved for MES connection to realize production data collection and process traceability. It can also work with robotic loading and unloading to seamlessly integrate into automated machining lines.
The whole machine adopts a closed sound-insulating protective structure and is equipped with multiple safety protections such as safety interlocks, pressure monitoring and fault alarms, meeting the environmental requirements of dust-free component workshops. Compared with traditional cleaning solutions, the Buck CNC high-pressure cleaning machine excels at cleaning internal passages and delivers highly consistent cleaning results. It effectively reduces rework caused by non-compliant cleanliness and steadily meets the strict quality standards of leading NEV manufacturers. Widely used in post-machining processes of die-cast housings for NEV motors, electronic controls and reducers, it serves as core precision cleaning equipment for three-electric component machining lines to strengthen cleanliness control and achieve high-quality mass production.
